Hey guys, sorry for all the inactivity on my part, I'm just not very insipred lately, and I'm still waiting for the people I'm collaborating with to send in their renders. Which I'm sure are going to be amazing!
This is a version of the collaboration between Swaroop and I that was later changed to reflect a midday/morning scene, instead of this more sunset/evening feel. I didn't want to submit the whole thing again because it was partially incomplete at this stage, so I decided to send in four snapshots of little details.
The first is part of the sky. I'm particularly fond of this sky I made, it's really detailed and I think is my best sky/clouds yet.
The second part is the little birdies we added ! And also more sky detail there.
The third is the main space part about all this, the planet and its moon, with the sun flaring behind it. (And some more birdies! Lol.)
And the fourth is also a part of postwork on the render that I'm proud of. Bottom left you can see waves, those werent there in the render, I added them in. It taught me a few new techniques about layering and and blending. And to the right is the nifty little boat I added in as well, more post work techniques learned there. And of course, more beautiful sky!
I hope you enjoyed this slightly different version of the collab, and that it would keep you interested in my page until I'm done with the next couple of pieces .
Thanks again to Swaroop for the opportunity to work with him, it was great.
Comments and favs are awesome, they make me happy in my pants!
Alot of work in the details..but that certainly pays off in the end to become an image you can both be proud of.
I love looking at the creative process involved...because I tend to forget what steps are needed to bring an image together, and this is a good reminder.
Quite true. Sometimes the creative process is alot more inspiring than the finished piece even. It takes alot of patience to make a good image, and rushed ones tend to look less than perfect.
Haha, thanks, though this isn't exactly a new piece, it's just one of the many beta versions that were in the process of making the main "Elements" piece. I personally liked that sunset feel more. And 90% of everything in those four particular detail shots is my independent work, so I wanted to show my part in all this.
A party in your pants? woo!!!!!!!! You can do art and still be depressed trust me.. It's neat though the different levels of atmos.
But scientificly birds would die that high, right. Yes yes, Jessica it's art not science or planet construction we are not planning our next solar system.. But I can't help it..

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
